The holiday season is all about spending time with family and we want to help make it extra special by ensuring families in need have food to eat and are able to receive a special gift.

Owner and manager of the Botson Agencies, Kym Botson, is announcing a charity drive this holiday season to help raise support for the Port Clinton chapter of the Salvation Army. The effort will center on the Salvation Army’s Tree A Rama initiative, which is intended to promote community involvement in assisting families financially unable to make the holiday season extra special.

“The holiday season is all about spending time with family and we want to help make it extra special by ensuring families in need have food to eat and are able to receive a special gift,” said Botson.

In the spirit of community involvement, the Botson Agencies is basing donations on the number of community members referred to their offices for a no-cost insurance quote. For each person referred, the firm will present a donation to the Salvation Army of Port Clinton.

More information on the event is available from the Botson Agencies website: http://thebotsonagencies.com/rewards/.
