Peer support is not only a critical factor in success at rehab from alcohol or drug addiction.
Sunshine Coast Health Centre, one of the top drug rehabilitation and alcohol treatment programs in Canada, is proud to announce a new drug rehab and alcohol treatment meeting space as well as new facilitators for alumni. Alumni, i.e., persons who have completed drug rehab and/or alcohol treatment using the Centre’s innovative Non 12-Step Methodology, are encouraged to meet with each other on a regular basis to share stories and offer support and encouragement on life’s journey.
The alumni meetings will now hosted every second Tuesday at a new location in Edmonton, Alberta. Facilitators are Kirsten Mostler and Eric McDougall. Alumni interested in attending should reach out to the Centre at https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/contact-us/ for more details. Persons seeking immediate drug rehab or alcohol treatment services for themselves and/or their loved ones are urged to reach out for a confidential consultation.
“Peer support is not only a critical factor in success at rehab from alcohol or drug addiction,” explained Casey Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer. “It’s also just fun for a group of like-minded individuals to get together, share stories, find common ground, and support each other on life’s journey. Our alumni meetups have proven to be very popular for these reasons.”
A UNIQUE METHODOLOGY OF DRUG REHAB AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT
SCHC offers a unique methodology to work with clients towards drug rehab and alcohol treatment. First, it is based on a non 12-Step methodology of meaning as compared with the more common faith-based approach of alcoholics anonymous and narcotics anonymous. In this way, persons can find a methodology that fits with their identity and offers a good chance of success. Second, the program is male-only, which gives men an approach catered to their needs. Third, the program is located in beautiful Powell River, British Columbia, thus offering inpatient drug rehab and alcohol treatment so that persons battling addiction can get away from their old lifestyle and reboot their life in an intensive program. To learn more about the program in detail, including a virtual tour of the facility, visit https://www.sunshinecoasthealthcentre.ca/drug-rehab-program/. Persons seeking low cost or no cost drug rehab or alcohol treatment options in cities as diverse as Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver, can visit the sister website at http://canadadrugrehab.ca/.
