“I Finish Nothing”: a story of a man who lost it all and learned to cope with his grief. “I Finish Nothing” is the creation of published author, Robert William Dinklage, lifelong outdoorsman. Dinklage spent three years in the Texas National Guard Forty-Ninth Armored Division before joining the US Army and the US Airborne.
“After two marriages and three children, I am back to my book. My granddaughter talked me into writing, and after a while I decided I would never finish this. Hence the name ‘I Finish Nothing.’ If it hadn’t been for divine intervention, it would never have been written. At eighty-one, I am pretty proud of what I have done and blessed with divine intervention.” –Robert William Dinklage
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Robert William Dinklage’s new book is a story about overcoming grief.
In 1979, author Robert William Dinklage’s mother died. His son was then killed by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run. It was the worst year of his life.
He soon lost his job and career. He went through a divorce and gave away his house. In his mid-fifties, he was left with nothing except darkness and an uncertain future. He would, however, find a way to cope with his grief.
